we came as romans new album

On september 13th, We came as romans will be releaseing there sophmore album "understanding what we've grown to be" with big expectations. the detroit band released their first album "to plant a seed" in 2009 and have had succsess off of it and hope for the same with this new album. “We knew going into everything what the direction of the CD was going to be, the whole concept behind it and how we wanted to be portrayed as a band. The lyrics follow a sort of “dark to light” theme as the album goes on. We, as a band, discovered a lot of negativity in our lifestyle that we hadn’t truly realized or noticed in the past and this CD is a lot about dealing with that and coping when things turn out the opposite of how you’d imagined they would.” says guitarist Joshua Moore. 2 of the songs where released on itunes in july earlier this year and where played at warped tour and  now all of there songs are on youtube as the album leaked weeks before the release. in my opinion the album is very good, its different then to plant a seed but still good, they have definatly taken there music to new levels.

On september 13th on the day of the release, we came as romans will be kicking off the im alive tour which they are headlining. playing along with them on the tour are f mice and men, miss may i, texas and july and close to home. they will be having a hometown release show at the crowfoot ballroom in pontiac, michigan to kick it off

blink 182 honda civic tour

On august 25, blink 182 kicked off the tenth anniversary of the honda civic tour. blink is headlining the tour playing alongside my chemical romance and matt and kim. this tour is one of the largest tours that they have headlined and is very big for them after coming off the 2005-2009 hiatus. this tour gives blink 182 a chance to go out there and show they can still put on a great show and have not lost there dirty sense of humor on stage. it also gives them a chance to play a couple of there new songs of the album that expected to be realesed soon. the new album is much different than their older music but at the same time still has the blink 182 socal sound to it. there new music is more modernized which they will show during there onstage performance during the tour."I think the only way to move forward is to make the shows more sophisticated than how we grew up in punk rock" says blink 182 guitarist Tom Delonge. there performances along this tour are filled with amazing light shows and even a flying drum solo by travis barker, this is definatly a show you would want to attend.
A big theme for this tour is going green, one of the main goals is to try and promote people to help keep the envirment clean and each band is doing it in there own way, things such as water use, electricity and things suchs as recycling or not being afraid to drink out of the tap and stop using plastic bottles have been a main focus of the tour.
